Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Our Approach
AILL provides a 20-minute free trial for every new account — no credit card required. This trial is designed to let parents and children fully experience Guru before committing to a paid plan. Because of this free trial, paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable, subject to the specific exceptions below.
2. When Refunds Are Available
We issue refunds only in the following three situations:
(a) Duplicate or accidental payment. If you were charged twice for the same plan, or if a technical error resulted in an unintended charge, we will refund the duplicate or erroneous amount in full.
(b) Extended service unavailability. If the Service is unavailable for more than 72 continuous hours due to a failure on our side (not including scheduled maintenance notified in advance), you may request a pro-rata refund for the affected days.
(c) Unresolvable technical issue. If you encounter a technical issue that prevents meaningful use of the Service, and our support team is unable to resolve it within 7 business days of being notified, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
3. Interview Intelligence Sessions (Rs 299 per session)
Interview Intelligence sessions are generally non-refundable once a session has been initiated.
Because each session includes a live adaptive interview experience and a structured evaluation report, refunds are considered only in limited situations involving verified technical failure on AILL''s side.
Refunds may be approved in cases such as:
- Payment was processed but the interview session never started due to a platform issue
- A verified technical failure interrupted the session before completion
- The evaluation report could not be generated due to a system error
- Duplicate or accidental payments for the same session
Refunds are not applicable for:
- Dissatisfaction with interview outcomes or evaluation results
- Disagreement with the AI''s assessment
- Performance below personal expectations
- Connectivity, device, microphone, browser, or internet issues on the user''s side
- Change of mind after a session has started
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the session date along with relevant payment details and supporting information.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
4. When Refunds Are NOT Available
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind, preference, or dissatisfaction after the 20-minute free trial and after payment
- Non-use or partial use of the subscription
- Cancellation of a subscription before its end date (access simply remains until the paid period ends)
- Issues arising from your device, internet connection, or browser
- Termination due to violation of our Terms of Service
5. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@aill.in with:
- The account email
- The payment reference (from your payment receipt)
- The reason for the refund request and any supporting details
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method and typically credited back within 7–10 business days.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel any subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to hello@aill.in. Cancellation stops any future auto-renewal. You continue to have access to the Service until the end of the paid period you have already purchased. Cancellation alone does not entitle you to a refund.
7. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to your statutory rights as a consumer under Indian law, any dispute arising under this Policy shall preferably be resolved through good-faith dialogue. Where that is not possible, disputes may be addressed before the competent courts or consumer forums having jurisdiction.
